What is the FluidLoc cable feature?
It is a special cable option. It stops oil or other machine fluids from traveling inside the cable to the connector, preventing leaks at the panel.
Why is a 7.7-inch case beneficial?
The long case (option -77) is for deep mounting applications. It allows the probe to reach through thick machinery walls or insulation layers.
What is the recommended gap voltage?
For radial vibration measurement, set the gap to achieve -9 Vdc. This is approximately 1.27 mm (50 mils) from the target shaft.
Can this probe handle high humidity?
Yes. It shows less than 3% change in performance after 56 days at 93% relative humidity, meeting IEC standards.
How do I choose between standard and extended temperature probes?
For most applications below 177°C, this standard 330101 model is perfect. For hotter environments up to 218°C, inquire about the Extended Temperature Range (ETR) version.
