  • What does “fail freeze” mean on this positioner? The actuator holds its last position when electrical power fails. Air pressure stays trapped.
  • Can I use this positioner with single acting actuators? No. This is double acting only (option 5). Choose a different version for single acting.

  • Experience: My positioner vibrates and hunts near setpoint. Check air supply pressure first. Then adjust the dead band settings using HART.
