- 21V is typical peak at high speed. 1.6V is the minimum you get at low speed. Your meter must detect 1.6V reliably.
- Can I extend the 6-inch wires?
- Yes, use twisted pair shielded cable. Keep total length under 15 meters. Solder and insulate joints well.
- Why does my sensor show zero output even with a steel gear?
- Air gap may be too large. Reduce gap to 0.005-0.015 inch. Also check gear rotation speed – very slow speed gives very low voltage.
- Experience: How does this handle vibration on a small engine?
- It works well because of short 1.25-inch body. Use thread locker on the 3/8-24 nut to prevent loosening.
- Selection guide: Which sensor for high temp or longer thread?
- This 70085-1010-007 works to 107°C. For higher temperature (150°C), pick AI-TEK 70085-20xx series. For longer thread, choose 70085-3030 models.
