Around 10 RPM with a 60-tooth gear. Below that, signal may be too weak. - Can I shorten the 10m cable?
Yes, but use a shielded connector. Do not cut near the sensor body. - Why does my sensor work fine then stop suddenly?
Check for metal debris on the tip. Clean it gently with a cloth. - Is this sensor safe for outdoor use in rain?
Yes, but protect the connection box. The sensor body is sealed. - What is the difference between 70085-3030-235 and 70085-1010-220?
This one has metric thread (M16) and a very wide -65°C to 95°C range. The other uses UNF thread and goes to 107°C.
