Frequently Asked Questions
What sensors does it work with?
It supports all major thermocouple types and 2/3/4-wire RTDs including Pt100, Cu50, and Ni100.
How is it configured?
Using a PC with MTL PCS45 software and PCL45USB interface for easy setup.
What is early burnout detection?
It detects when thermocouple resistance increases by more than 50Ω, indicating potential failure.
Can it handle both mV and RTD inputs?
Yes, it accepts both millivolt signals from thermocouples and resistance inputs from RTDs.
What output signals does it provide?
It provides a standard 4-20mA output and a configurable alarm relay output.
