Technical Setup
- What is the correct gap to set between the probe and shaft?Set the probe tip to 1.27 mm (50 mils) from the target shaft surface for optimal linear output.
- My shaft is only 1.5 inches in diameter. Can I use this?No. The minimum recommended shaft diameter for this system is 2.0 inches (50.8 mm). Using a smaller shaft will affect the measurement.
