The Emerson SS4303T01 is a LS AI 4-20 mA HART CHARM. It is part of the DeltaV SIS™ Electronic Marshalling system. This CHARM reads analog inputs from field devices. It supports HART communication for smart instruments. The module offers high accuracy and fault isolation.

Yes. The system auto-senses new CHARMs online. You do not need to shut down. - How do I safely work on a connected field device?
Partially eject the LS CHARM. This locks it out and disconnects field wiring safely. - What is the Keylock for?
It is a new feature in v14.3. It inhibits the unlock command to all CHARMs on the network. It uses a yellow plastic part. - Do I need to calibrate this module?
No. The SS4303T01 requires zero calibration. It is ready to use out of the box.
