Installation Guide

Follow these simple steps.

First, turn off all power to the rack. Next, locate two empty slots. The module needs two complete slots. Then, align the module with the card guides. Slide it in firmly. Secure it to the rack. Finally, connect Ethernet and serial cables as needed.

Important : Do not disassemble the module. Do not touch internal boards or DRAM.

Yes. The IS215ACLEH1A works in Innovation Series drives. However, it does NOT replace the older ACLA module for that series. Check your system manual first.

Q2: What is the difference between IS215ACLEH1 and IS215ACLEH1A?

The H1A is the A-rated functional revision. It came after the base H1 model. A-rated means minor improvements. Both work similarly. For new purchases, choose H1A.

Q3: How do I download runtime code to this module?

Use the Toolbox software. Connect through ENET1 Ethernet port. The download happens over the network. Do not use serial ports for this task.

Q4: What happens if both CPU and DSPX access the same DPRAM address?

The hardware solves this automatically. It delays one board for up to 100 ns. You do not need to do anything. The system keeps working normally.
