The ABB V18345-2010521001 TZIDC positioner moves valves with precision. It uses a 4-20 mA signal. This smart device fits linear or rotary actuators. The aluminum case includes a mechanical position indicator. It offers double acting output with fail freeze during power loss.

What does “fail freeze” mean?
If electrical power fails, the valve stays in its last position. It does not move to 0% or 100%.
Can I add HART later?
Yes. The connector plug for LKS adapter is included. Add the FSK module to enable HART.
How do I know when to service the valve?
Check diagnosis parameters via HART. The device counts total travel and movements. Set your own alarm limits.
Does this model work in explosive areas?
No. Explosion protection code is 0. Choose a different TZIDC variant for ATEX zones.
The display shows an alarm code. What now?
Press the up arrow to see the setpoint. Press down arrow to see internal temperature. Compare codes with the manual.
My valve drifts slowly. How to fix?
Run the Autoadjust function again. The device will relearn friction and response.
Can I use this with a 24V PLC digital output?
The digital input is not available on this variant. Only analog 4-20 mA control.
What is the minimum air pressure?
1.4 bar (20 psi). Lower pressure causes unstable movement.
