Overview

The ABB AI830 RTD Input Module offers precise temperature measurement for industrial applications through eight configurable channels. Supporting Pt100, Cu10, Ni100, Ni120, and resistive sensors, it ensures accurate linearization and conversion to Celsius or Fahrenheit directly on the module. Designed for reliability, the module detects open circuits, short circuits, and grounded sensors while integrating a 50/60 Hz notch filter to eliminate mains frequency interference. Compatible with TU810, TU812, TU814, and TU830 termination units, it simplifies three-wire RTD connections and maintains signal integrity via shielded cabling.
