The Bently Nevada 330102-00-20-10-11-05 is a 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe. It monitors vibration and position in turbines, compressors, and pumps. This probe works with 3300 XL Proximitor sensors. It has a rugged PPS tip and stainless steel case.

FAQ – Common Questions & Buying Guide

Q1: Can I use a 5-meter probe with any Proximitor?
A: No. 5-meter probes work only with the 5-meter Proximitor sensor.

Q2: What is the difference between 330101 and 330102?
A: 330102 has 3/8-24 UNF armored thread. 330101 is non-armored. Only 330101 supports 3m length for 9m Proximitor.

Q3: My site has low temperature below -40°C. Is this probe suitable?
A: Standard probe works to -52°C, but avoid prolonged below -34°C to protect pressure seal. Use extended temp version for cable above +177°C.

Q4: How do I set the air gap correctly?
A: Adjust probe tip until output voltage reads -9 Vdc. That gives about 1.27 mm gap.

Q5: What happens if I use longer field wiring than 305 meters?
A: High frequency signals will roll off. Check frequency response graphs before exceeding limit.

Q6 (Experienced user): I see drift in warm-up. Normal?
A: Small drift under 3% is typical. For critical apps, allow 30 min warm-up. Replace probe if drift exceeds 5% ASF.

Q7 (Buying guide): Which length probe should I choose?
